Inspired by a trip to Scotland, Mendelssohn’s picturesque Symphony No. 3 takes you from the Palace of Holyrood to the majestic Highlands. This program also features a Mendelssohn concerto performed by the winner of the HSO’s “Young Stars” competition and Foumai’s Music from the Castle of Heaven.
